Job Highlights

  • Provides curbside transport service to patients and visitors
  • Ensures the comfort of the patient by greeting, being attentive, engaging in appropriate conversation, and making sure the proper equipment is available upon request
  • Follows proper procedure when working with the Epic Tracking Dispatch system and clears calls immediately after transports are completed
  • Assists in the upkeep of the lobby and stores wheelchairs neatly in wheelchair room

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to understand and apply knowledge of patient transport concepts, infection control practices, and proper body mechanics
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to maintain a pleasant demeanor and professional appearance
  • Data entry and computer experience required
