Job Highlights
- Works under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) to deliver patient care in a specific department within the hospital system
- Assists with vital signs, including manual blood pressure, 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge, and any other duties delegated by the RN
- Assists with the implementation of a patient specific care plan
- Works side-by-side with other certified registered nurses with hands-on training and growth opportunities within the company
Candidate Profile
- Must be enrolled in a nursing aide course or have it completed within the past 5 years
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated
- Must have an interest in helping others, including working with those who are sick
- Willing to meet with a Skills coach for employment coaching opportunities
