Job Highlights
- This is a high-volume call center role where this person will take an average of 55 calls per day for multiple medical group/hospital departments while applying correct workflows and protocols
- Simultaneously collects information from patients and keys data in Epic Software
- Schedules appointments, procedures, and events at NorthShore locations
- Registers and verifies insurance eligibility, informing the patients of their financial responsibility
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in a high volume call center required
- 1 year of previous healthcare, medical insurance, or clinical patient support experience preferred
- Basic computer skills including proficiencies in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to type 25 words per minute
- Demonstrates importance of attendance and maintains a positive work environment, arriving on time and with minimal absenteeism
